| About me: I've been taking photographs since I was 10 years old. Back then, I was using a Kodak 110 instamatic that I won in a school contest. A couple years later, my dad gave me a Balda 35mm range finder camera, and then a Nikon F (still have both!), and would only let me use black and white film. He said I needed to learn black and white before color. He was right! I mostly shoot digital now, but do still use film every now and then when the composition and the light seem right. This blog and my website give me a creative outlet, that I was missing in the days before digital. Living half the week on Cape Cod, has given me a wealth of subjects. I do tend to prefer landscapes, abandoned buildings and found objects as themes, but have been getting more and more intrigued by black and white portraits. I do try to update this blog at least once every couple of days, and the website every month, so check back often. Thanks for looking, feel free to leave a comment or a critique.
